What are your specialities and areas of interest?
I’m honored to work with individuals and families from all walks of life—whether it’s navigating depression, anxiety, fertility struggles, or supporting the Autism community. As a mom of two Autistic children, I deeply empathize with the unique challenges that come with being a parent and spouse in these situations. My passion is helping families realize the warrior inside of them and reminding them that, together, they have the strength to overcome anything.
What sparks the most joy for you as the therapist?
As a therapist, I’m privileged to come alongside my clients, helping them navigate through their challenges and find their path toward healing and growth. We’re all in process, and being able to support someone through their journey is truly rewarding. Every step forward, no matter how small, is a win. It’s an honor to be part of that transformation.
How would you describe your therapy style?
I believe in getting into the mud with my clients, offering an empathetic and safe space where they can open up and share their struggles. Together, we navigate the windy and often treacherous roads they come in with, working side by side toward healing. Building a strong therapeutic alliance is something that is of the utmost importance to me—because it’s in that trust and partnership where true transformation happens.
What is your favorite quote?
“When we deny our emotion, it owns us. When we own our emotion, we can rebuild and find our way through the pain.” Brene Brown.
I love this quote becauseIt is so true when it comes to a therapeutic environment. If you don’t feel your feelings and push through, they will control you.
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
When I’m not working, I am spending time with my five children and husband of 16 years. I enjoy baking, reading, going to hockey games and spending time with friends
