What are your specialities and areas of interest?

My specialties include:

  • Perinatal and Maternal Mental Health
Supporting mothers through every stage, from pregnancy to navigating the complexities of motherhood as their children grow into adulthood.

  • Family Therapy
Guiding families in improving communication, whether it's helping parents connect with their teenagers, strengthening relationships with adult children, or navigating the challenges of caring for aging parents, including those with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

  • Couples Therapy
Helping couples build stronger communication and mend fractured relationships.

  • Domestic and Narcissistic Abuse
Providing support for those dealing with physical, verbal, financial, and emotional abuse, including navigating divorce, co-parenting with a controlling partner or ex-partner, and empowering women to reinvent themselves after divorce or during the empty nest stage.

  • Career Counseling
Assisting clients in aligning their careers with their lives, rather than allowing their careers to dictate their lives, by helping them discover and harness their strengths.

What sparks the most joy for you as the therapist?

What brings me the most joy is witnessing the transformation in my clients. Seeing the light return to their faces where darkness once resided, and hearing laughter and smiles replace tears and sadness is incredibly rewarding.

How would you describe your therapy style?

My approach blends Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I believe that addressing an individual’s challenges requires looking at the whole picture, including the dynamics within their family. Clients come to therapy because something in their life isn’t working, and I work with them to uncover solutions that bring about meaningful change.

When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your free time?

In my free time, I enjoy being with the people I love most—my kids, my Miniature Pinscher, Honey, and my family and friends. I also have a passion for traveling, learning new things, and diving into crime drama series.
